I created this to help my son learn the times table. Like most kids, he's very capable but lacks the motivation and focus to sit down and memorize long tables. So I created Quizaboo. Quizaboo hits will randomly show the times table question, for every question he gets right, he earns a bit of youtube time!
At the end of a short quiz, he gets to watch a bit of youtube. Want more youtube, get more questions right!
Showing a random question is helpful. However we wanted to also make sure there’s retention. This is where the smarts come in..
Firstly, each question that is shown are in small bite sized bits and the questions shown are the ones that your child struggles the most! The platform tracks how your child does on each questions, and importantly you get to see all of that information you can support your child's learning on those harder questions.
Each time, there is a small set of questions that are shown to your child for them to answer. For each question answered, they will earn some reward points. For each reward point, they will be able to see a little bit of a selected youtube clip.
As a parent, you get to manage which youtube videos your child gets to be exposed to. Use either the suggested ones from the platform, or override them with your own choices
